Scallywag Words was founded in 2019 and is run by Alice Shepherd Erlač, a native English speaker from the south of England and London. We offer English lessons and creative writing workshops.
Alice has a BA (Bachelor of Arts) in English Literature and Creative Writing from London Metropolitan University and a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education) in English Literature and Language from the University of East London.
After eight years of teaching in London and Slovenian schools, she branched out to self-employment, offering creative writing and one-to-one English language tuition in Maribor, Slovenia, where she now lives, and online.
Alice believes in a creative approach to learning and the power of writing and creating art to improve well-being.
